LAVERDE

In mid-2021, LAVERDE, a cosmetics manufacturer whose production processes are highly sensitive to electrical fluctuations, was experiencing recurring instability in the public grid. During periods of peak demand, the local infrastructure experienced voltage dips, causing unexpected shutdowns, production losses and operational risks.

To ensure complete reliability across its production line, the engineering departments of ONDISER, LAVERDE and E-REDES worked alongside external design engineers. Following an in-depth technical assessment, it was determined that the solution capable of eliminating the electrical disturbances was the implementation of a large-scale industrial UPS system.

The selected solution involved the installation of a Riello MHE 600 kVA UPS to provide a stabilised power supply for the critical production loads. This double-conversion system provides:

  • Absolute voltage and frequency stability
  • High capacity to support dynamic loads
  • Modular and redundant architecture
  • Superior energy efficiency

To complement the protection of critical loads, a second UPS was installed for auxiliary loads: a Riello MPT 200 kVA UPS. This unit ensures the operational continuity of essential systems such as automation, control, ventilation, instrumentation, IT and industrial safety, providing redundancy and runtime even during severe instability or a complete grid failure.

With the combined implementation of the MHE 600 kVA and MPT 200 kVA UPS systems, LAVERDE now operates with a fully stabilised power supply, eliminating interruptions and ensuring production continuity under any public-grid conditions.
